Not what it says.

Hmmm? What can I say about this book? DO NOT buy it!
It's simply junk. The design stinks. The best photos are on the cover.
The content just has to be the worst writings on strength I've EVER had the misfortune to have bought & read. I feel like a sucker for buying it.
I write this little review to help others who seek real knowledge about
bodybuilding history to go elsewhere. This book is a real stinker! If the name Dave Yarnell is on the cover it means you've been had. What a piece of trash. This guy is a fraud and a full of bull. DO NOT BUY!

If you enjoy old time weightlifting you may like this

This book was bought for my dad who is in his 70's and who has followed the old time weightlifters most of his life. Looking at the cover I thought it would be like a scrapbook. Although it's not he thoughly enjoys it because it has bits of history/trivia about the oldtimers. Be sure to take advantage of looking inside so your not disappointed like some of the reviewers were. What you see there is what you get throughout the book.
